I really enjoy your demonstrations. You make it look almost effortless, but I know that results from thousands of hours of practice and thinking.

I feel1) Fast colour mixing 2) Negative painting 3) three are most important as a beginner in watercolor. If as Ia beginner if I could practice these 3 separately... thoroughly....I think watercolor is much easier...I realised this after 4 years of watercolor...I know very slow brain ..but this might help others. Also I feel at least 100 sheets of watercolor paper should be filled and wasted... willingly happily...to lose that high expectations

I love the way that you explain everything you are doing. You are demystifying watercolours for me. Thank you!

Great vid. How often do people varnish their watercolor paintings afterwards? With something like a cold wax medium or whatever works.

I always felt his tonal variation isn't much...I'm a beginner in watercolor according to myself...so my opinion maybe not correct...but for me it's doesn't ring a bell...I go by my inner instinct experience...not just by famous names

I appreciate so much the way you've laid everything out in front of the viewer. Every bit of it has something to teach. I loved watching this and can really use these pointers (especially for negative painting and how different colors imply distance😊

I still feel darks aren't dark enough...however if Andy planned like that...it's perfect...but for me more darks would be better

Drawing value studies and painting are all different and do not have to be related
