Ares rocket test - September 10, 2009

Absolutely amazing! We were about 1 1/2 miles away. The sound takes 6 seconds to get to us and we could still feel the heat and energy.
Hear the little boy yelling "Rocket"? That's my 2 year old son. He was so excited! We took him to give him something to dream about and look forward to.
Oh by the way . . . Not only is this project most likely getting the ax but so are 800 + people that work at the factory where it was made.
Come on Mr. Government. We need a manned space program! Don't take the stars from our children.
