Thank You for the demo. I have the Ravenna 26 with removable legs and I love it.

Great comparison! However, I have the Ravenna 26, & I don’t think it would be considered a “lap harp” per se. I’ve never played it the way you demonstrated. It has the internal drop down leg for that. But, it holds its own in the harp world!👍

Hi Marina, thank you for the comparison! What is the melody/arrangement you're playing here?

I almost purchased a Ravenna 34 because of the beautiful sound but someone in a harp group steered me away from it because of plastic veneer which I think is a huge mistake in design and cheapens the look but that wasn’t the deal breaker. She told me that the warranty on that harp was so much less than what dusty strings offers on their regular higher end harps. So that finally was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me and I went with Musicmakers Jolie, completely custom made to my specs. I love it. But I think if Ravenna upgraded to finished wood sound boxes instead of ugly plastic veneer they’d be a lot better off and also upgrade their warranty in standing with their other harps. To me that is a red flag. Why wouldn’t they have a better warranty? My thought is because their harp isn’t going to last.
