Hey Justin, thank you so much for this explanation! I've accidentally queued videos into Media Encoder but I've never known how to use it. I just used it on a project after you posted this video and it saved me at least an hour of waiting around. Much appreciated!

Queue is also a great feature when you have a slower machine and can't allow the system to get bogged down encoding when you need to get other non-video projects completed. A lot of times, I'll fill up the queue and then come back to it just before I go to bed. I then close out my other programs to maximize the rendering process while I sleep.

I always use Media Encoder, I find the rendering a lot smoother, and the multitask experience while rendering is much better. Also, I usually encounter errors when rendering 4K videos with a bunch effects when using export. Good video.

Thanks man, knew that already but still watched till the end!

Aha! Thank you Justin, I was kind of worried that rendering in Premiere may have a worse quality export than if I used Media Encoder.

some of my videos on my mac that i queue to render on adobe after effects take literally 24 hours to render but then if I use media encoder it's even longer! wish they would render quicker! especially my car light trail videos!!

I don't usually use the adobe media encoder to export videos. But to export multiple videos during an event I use it.

I'm opposite, 9/10 I'll queue because while my vid is exporting I need to go back into PP and do a thumbnail and stuff. Had to start direct exporting a while ago though when Encoder got weird and glitchy but they seemed to have sorted that with an update.

For some frustrating reason, earlier when I queued a video in media encoder, a yellow warning icon appeared next to the green checkmark as soon as it was done exporting. Caused my video to turn corrupt and unplayable. I've been using media encoder for a very long time and this has never happened to me once

How much RAM and Graphic card should be used for After effects and Premiere.
Mine is taking more than 12hrs for just 15sec video. In Adobe media encoder

Beware for queue if you want captions to burned in the video. It won't do it!
