I grew up with a „step dad“ who always openly said he never wanted kids - and then gets together with my mom who has 5 kids lol. We all knew how he thought about us, how we triggered him as soon as we behaved like children. My oldest brother moved out at 16 because of him, and my mom just let it happen. I’ll never understand or forgive her for staying with a man who clearly says he doesn’t like children.
He was very controlling and the older we got the more he disliked us, because he kinda saw us as competition? He controlled my mom and isolated her for 10 years, and we just tagged along in that journey

Moms, your kids are first priority- don’t be with someone who doesn’t love your children and treats them with respect because it’s your responsibility. We all just have one childhood, don’t destroy your kid‘s just because you have a crush
