1. **Catalytic Hydration:** Adding water to a compound using a catalyst.

2. **Hydroboration Oxidation Reaction:** Adding boron and then replacing it with hydrogen in a chemical reaction.

3. **Reduction:** Gaining electrons or hydrogen, making a substance less "positive."

4. **Reduction of Carboxylic Acid & Esters:** Turning carboxylic acids or esters into alcohols by adding electrons or hydrogen.

5. **Using Grignard Reagent:** Using a special compound (Grignard reagent) to create new bonds in organic compounds.

6. **Preparation of Phenol:** Making phenol, a type of molecule, through chemical processes like the cumene process.

7. **Trick:**

8. **Boiling Point:** The temperature at which a substance turns from a liquid to a gas.

9. **Trend of Boiling Point:** Alcohols > Phenols > Ethers in boiling points.

10. **Solubility:** Alcohols and phenols usually dissolve in water, whereas ethers may not as much.

11. **Stability & Strength:** How well a compound holds together and how strong its chemical bonds are.

12. **Esterification:** Combining a carboxylic acid and an alcohol to make an ester.

13. **Lucas Reagent:** A mix of chemicals used to test the type of alcohol present.

14. **Lucas Test:** A test using Lucas Reagent to classify alcohols as primary, secondary, or tertiary.

15. **Reaction with Phosphorus Trihalide:** Swapping hydroxyl groups in alcohols with phosphorus trihalides to make alkyl halides.

16. **Dehydration:** Removing water from a substance.

17. **Oxidation:** Losing electrons or gaining oxygen, making a substance more "positive."

18. **Dehydrogenation:** Removing hydrogen from a molecule.

19. **Electrophilic Substitution:** Swapping a hydrogen atom in a benzene ring with a positively charged atom.

20. **Intramolecular Hydrogen Bonding:** Hydrogen bonding within a molecule.

21. **Picric Acid:** A powerful explosive compound with three nitro groups.

22. **Bromination:** Adding bromine to a substance.

23. **Kolbe's & Reimer-Tiemann Reaction:** Chemical reactions to make hydrocarbons and phenols, respectively.

24. **Important Alcohols:** Key alcohols like methanol, ethanol, and glycerol.

25. **Preparation of Ethers:** Making ethers using reactions like Williamson synthesis.

26. **Physical Properties of Ethers:** Characteristics like boiling point and solubility associated with ethers.

27. **Chemical Properties of Ethers:** How ethers behave in different chemical situations, like reacting with acids to form alcohols and alkyl halides.

25:18 hydroboration oxidation undergoes markovnikov addition but it seems to undergo anti-markovnikov . if we study its mechanism then we will get to know that diborane is added to unsymmetrical alkene until we get (ch3ch2ch3)3br and then we add peroxide which does not follow anti markovnikov rule at that time as ch3ch2ch3 is alkane .

Hello 😊, I am here to tell you that the videos provided by Bharat Sir is sufficient for board exams and you don't need any other notes and YouTube channel for the same. You just need to practice NCERT back exercise questions and intext questions(those are very very very important..some questions will be asked directly in boards) and other than that..just do PYQ's and exemplar( Bharat Sir made those videos too..you can watch that for better understanding of concepts)

I have passed 12th standard in last year batch (2021-22) and got 93 in chemistry [ I knew my mistakes after the exam as I had left those topics which had very much probabilty to come in boards..my mistake 🥲]

The quality of education he is giving to you free of cost is really appreciable. Thank You Bharat Sir for your efforts ❤️ Such a great teacher 🔥

Edit - This YouTube channel was the base from my competitive exams too..
Got 83 percentile in Chemistry in JEE MAINS( was unable to clear the cutoff but it's okay)
Got 87 percentile in CUET
