LA folks, where dreams come to die, survive or prosper, don’t let shows and movies fool you, not many cities want their dark parts of themselves be shown publicly, but obviously we all know the truth of this world

Lived the first 24 years of my life in Cali and I learned to just keep walking or riding past don't stop for anyone.

That whole part of LA is Darkness,
It’s crazy how consistent the misery is in that area.

Riding your bike around that much litter and syringes is playing a dangerous game.

I always tell people I’d never seen a rat in the wild until I walked around MacArthur park one night. On that night I saw my 200th rat

My dream when I was younger had always been to live in LA. Now that I’m older I’ve realised that my own country (holland) is waayyy better

Born and raised in Los Angeles, and I have NEVER been inside of MacArthur Park. Driven past but have never walked by or through. I can literally feel my life expectancy drop with each passing second I remain in the vicinity.

Fetynal is a scrouge, my friends. I have 4 1/2 months clean from that shit. I really hope our government starts taking this stuff seriously because i personally know at least 43 people who have overdosed and died from this shit. I am very grateful i was finally able to get help and get clean.

Don’t worry. You’re adding to the nightmare. You scared the shit out of that lady at the bottom of the stairs lmfao.

That lady 100% thought you were about to get acquainted with the fence 😭

40 years ago, Los Angeles was a city that felt like heaven....
Now, it helps you to go there.

It is amazing that my dad used to ride his bike around that same Mac Arthur Park in the late 1940's early 1950's with no care in the world. So much is wrong and I wish for everyone that somehow we could fix things.

Omg! I grew up around that area! So surreal looking at how it is now vs how it was while I was a child, it’s such a sad decline 😢

I used to go to school down the street from MacArthur and we always had PE in the park. One of my classmates got punched by a random homeless dude, was crazy

I just see a bunch of normal people walking around in a park while a jackass speeds around them.

Even driving by there feels weird, like you’re passing thru a different dimension
