Accurate, non stigmatizing, and brief enough to use in trainings. couldn't ask for anything better, thank you!

That was funny. You can't produce enough dopamine to get out of bed let alone have good relationships. That's where I am

2:37 Suboxone is NOT a brand name for Buprenorphine, it's a brand name for Buprenorphine/Naloxone combined.

On day 12 of absolutely no suboxone. I am suffering. Took it for 5 years, stopped at 2mg/day.
I've had one good day so far, and that was day 9.
No matter how hard I try, I just can not wrap my head around this. If everything in my body is ok to make me feel so good one day, how can it be so bad the next day, or the day after that??
I know better days are coming, but how effin long am I gonna have to wait until they come??

Then how do you get off subutex? It fucks with the receptors longer. I’m Day 12 clean and I’m not producing any dopamine.

Opioid addiction begins in the doctor’s office, then on to the local pharmacy, a thousand pounds of illicit drugs coming across borders would not matter if it was not for that addiction…the fight must be employed at home first…

Suboxone and methadone may seem like a lifesaver (for some it is) until its time to get off everything and quit the clinic. Then starts the real recovery. Looking back those two long acting meds were worse off then the origional painkillers prescribed for surgeries. Don't be fooled into thinking taking one every 24hrs is okay, in the end you will understand its not. I wish I would have listend

When I see this stories- the I must admit that I experienced a miracle. I was prescribed opioids for 9 years and In two weeks I went from 80-100mg a day to 0. No treatment center, no hospitalization, just placed my self at the feet of the Master and with a little support from my children I’m 100% free.
I did not experience IMO what I see others describe as hell. It wasn’t a walk in the park, but certainly not hell. Nothing beats Jesus Christ- NOTHING. I’m happy to be called his biggest fan and be mucked- I don’t care. Thank you Jesus!
There’s no greater high than being in love with the men that die for me!
And No- there’s no medical record that Can be used against me neither and that my friend is a bonus.
This is my story- I’m happy for you if you’re clean by whatever means. Just get clean and when you feel that emptiness - I highly recommend my Jesus. ❤️🙏

To every opioid user or an addict :- Consider yourself clean from the day you start taking naltrexone !

Don't need all this science. All of us addicts already know all this without the science. Unfortunately, it's a hell we are completely familiar with! This crap just makes it harder and scarier to try to quit.

Methadone has been worse for me that my morphine addiction was, I'm currently detoxing from methadone after 3 years, unless you a bad bad user try to stay away from methadone, I have not tried subs so I can't comment in them, I hope I can break the methadone chain..

Suboxone and Methodone themselves still cause dependency. Those using either of those meds will still experience withdrawals and the ills of addiction as soon as they miss a dose. It’s just putting off the inevitable; misery and pain.

Outdated information. The pleasure system does NOT use dopamine. Dopamine is only used in “wanting” mechanisms. This has been know. For a while now, get your research straight.

Yeah suboxone and methadone cut mortality in half because it’s just another opiate it’s just regulated. Before I discovered heroin I used to buy methadone as a teenager because it was cheap and got me really high
