This song is beautiful. I cannot explain in words how much Shawn's music means to me. I loved his music when I was much younger and I was always teased for it, lol. There was so much comfort there and I can't listen to his old songs (particularly the Handwritten Album) without crying. It just reminds me when life was so different and seeing him return with music with such similar elements to his first album, it just reminds me of a younger version of myself that had no idea where I would be today and everything that has happened. Right now, years down the line, I am struggling with severe anxiety and depression but seeing that Shawn is back is proof that I can heal, too. The optimistic tone of this song and "Why Why Why" give me hope that things will get better and the comfort I felt when listening to his music remains. I'm so proud of Shawn and I know that a younger version of myself is proud of myself, too. Thank you for the amazing music, Shawn. ❤️ (From one Portuguese Canadian to another 🇵🇹🇨🇦💓)
