This just doesn’t make sense — why should we, as contractors, have to pay a fee to Hearth when we're the ones bringing them the clients?

We spend our own money on marketing, lead generation, and building trust with homeowners — only for Hearth to turn around and profit off the interest from those same clients we brought to the table. On top of that, we’re expected to pay them just to offer financing?

It doesn’t matter what kind of system they have — the bottom line is: they wouldn’t even be in business without contractors like us.

Make that make sense.

Hearth sucks. They falsely advertise financing terms that don’t exist in the real world when they fill in applications for financing. They auto renew you and don’t let you out. Look at other options.

What stops the customer from using your financing platform in purchasing the material at a lower rate in pocket in the rest of the money?

this sounds great but in really probably isnt. What kind of interest rates and if they dont have the money for the project there will get no cause for going over the budget. What if they get financing and than find a different contractor to do the work? Soubds like its not worth the fee in my opinion

Wow... What a load of crap. Hearth gives only very high rates and you end up getting pissed customer. Yeah. You don't have to pay a fee, but you lose a cutomer. Also, they won't refund you if you cancel and then they renew you automatically. Just bad !!!!

Hearth just told me they could get me 0% financing for 15 Months then itd go to 7%.

My first customer applied and it came to 11%.

I called to ask what happened and theyy told me that the 0% was a credit card. How tacky.

They dont give you the training video until you have paid the $2k fee.

Just go to a local bank. Their not going to help you close 30% more jobs.

With the financing options offered, are they reasonable offers to finance or exuberant interest rates? I don't want to demonstrate unethical business practices by promoting bad deals just to get paid.
