"I can't do that"
"You'll be fine"
Basically sums up life

An awesome experience. I expect that next summer we should get some similar feedback from Casey after he gets the Lotus Exosphere out on track.

You have to understand the change in momentum technically increases your applied brake force resulting in you easily being able to hit 100% brake pressure while only exerting a fraction of the power

Don't worry, when you hit the brakes you'll suddenly become much heavier allowing you to add more weight to it.

Besides the increased G-Force that everybody's talking about you'll also have a high degree of adrenaline running through you as well.

Our highest viewed video! Sam is an incredible storyteller.

When that corner is coming at you fast asf and you know if you don't make 75 percent that you may die, you're gonna get that 80 percent. Adrenaline will get you through this.

Yeah as others have pointed out. Breaking at 3g of declaration means you only have to press to 33% to hit 100% break pressure (with some losses ofc) as you suddenly weigh 3x more relative to the brake pedal.

I feel like I’d be so nervous about crashing a million dollar vehicle, I’d forget to enjoy the experience 💀

Love the variety of stories on vinwiki. This story got me into f1

I remember Pato talking about his f1 test drive and how he was exerting sometimes 3x the force lando or Daniel were doing.

That's because F1 doesn't allow for brake boosters, the object in your city car that multiplies the inserted brake force. Also, the G forces they experience under braking are the equivalent of standing up with weights on their back. So you don't want to multiply that.

“You’ll be fine.” Famous last words right there 😂

moral of the story is never skip leg day my guy

As an engineer I understand why they tell him it’s okay. Momentum makes it to where if you apply the same force it’ll be greater since you’re going so fast.

I think the g deceleration would've helped you push the pedal harder.

What he didn't talk about is that when you're slowing down via breaking, your body weight will shift forward putting more force on the brake pedal regardless.

Driven one and the neg GeForce when braking makes reaching over 75% alot easier than sitting still. It's as if you are really "standing" on the your butt becomes light and you are now holding yourself up (in a sense) on one foot.
It's amazing.

As you push the brake in an F1 car your body slides forward giving extra power on the brake pedal
