EdgeTX setting up Flaperons

In this video I will explain how to set up flaperons in EdgeTX. Flaperons allow you to dual purpose your ailerons as flaps. You need to be careful that you do not set the flap rate to high or you may lose aileron authority. Flaperons do help make slower landing approaches possible but some models may require engine power to overcome the possible extra drag. You will need to have a servo operating each aileron to be able to utilise Flaperons.

This is the only guide I could find on setting up flaperons on EdgeTX, which is great. Not so great is that I'm a bit thick and so far have one airleron working and the other stuck off centre (they work fine as airlerons). It looked to me like you already had it set up so it wasn't so easy (for me anyway... a bit thick remember) trying to go step by step to end up where you already were.

Thank you for making this video Always wanted to give flaperons a try ! I doubt I would have ever figured it out on my own ! Why do we use max ? What does that actually mean?

I had been trying to do this before I found your video and resigned myself that this model would not have flaperons. Found your video, watched it a couple of times and bingo- MAX. Now I wish my TX16S had a four position switch
