Volcano Updates | Iceland Eruption Switching Area?

Hello everybody, we finally got some news after a long wait of almost two weeks, but what are they. Well, we got some interesting occurrences beneath the surface a few kilometers North-East of Fagradalsfjall under Keilir. The magma seems to be trying to find a new area to erupt. We suggest this due to the fact that hundreds of earthquakes have been originating from the same spot in the last two days which is an indication of magma in action.

This event could also lead to large earthquakes as we saw back in February and March since this is just the same story as back then when the magma is trying to make its way up it disturbs the ground and can cause pressure releases that could lead to large earthquakes. Maybe 6M??

Just as I uploaded the video a rather large earthquake hit that could be felt in the capital. I couldn't feel it but some of my friends did. It was 3
5 in magnitude and in the area Keilir at a depth of around 7km.

Scientists don't know what to make of the situation yet but as suggested in the video the magma might be moving down there (The earthquakes originate from around 7km underground) or this might just be pressure releasing after the all the events in the recent months.

That would not be good for Reykjavik if it does decide to go to Keilir. Hopefully it opens a fissure just north of the hills 🙏🏼

Nw is where the lava is coming up from the mantle, before going horizontal along the fault and erupting. It wouldnt surprise me if it goes straight up and erupts, but its guessing..

La Palma is Strombolian type eruption; Iceland is icelandic/hawaiian type eruption. They are different.
