You helped organize a grocery cart? You are a very kind person. Thank you for treating the homeless as you would treat everyone else.

I love the story in the end.
Maybe you can connect the organisation topic with the needs of the homeless people?
You could ask them what they need regularly or once in a while (food, socks, underwear, bags, toothpaste, soap) and then give this information to your neighbours so when they declutter they know what to donate to the homeless shelter.

The pizza roller, the apple.. I'm loving all of these pro tips! These are BUSY mom tips, not lazy mom tips!! We have so much to do everyday that it's nice having "cheats" here and there!

Oh I love the irony of that story 😁 You never know though .. maybe you gave some of them hope to have a home to organize. I heard the best way to minister to a homeless person is to not only ask them what they need but what they dream of. I learned a lot of them stay in their position because they stopped dreaming and don't see a way out. Once they have hope again, they can start to work toward their dreams. Sorry to get corny but really, you probably did more good than you know ❤❤❤

I'm glad you just went with it. And you said you were homeless for a while yourself! That made me tear up. When I was born my mother was homeless for a while too, and some kind people took us in and gave up their child's room for a while.
I think I'm gonna go call my mom now....Thank you for being so kind.

OMG - the stories you tell... I know you say that could only happen to you, but this time I think I agree. LOL... My first job was in a library, and I remember being surprised about the homeless population that spent time in the library. It was eye opening to 16 year old me. It helped to shape me in ways I didn’t realize until I was much older. I think I’m more compassionate and understanding because of my first job and the things I saw.

I am in stitches. Your little stories are my favourite thing on YouTube. How has Hollywood not discovered you?

You know Cass, I've been thinking about your story time this morning and my mum always used to say to me "bloom where you are planted" and I think what you did was lovely... I seem to have befriended a homeless person in a car park I use and l keep a food parcel and some new socks in my car boot for when I see him when when we chat he tells me some really sad things that people do and say to him, so your 2 hours of positivity and your sunny personality probably made such a difference to everyone's day. Everyone needs a little bit of positivity to keep them uplifted. I know i would feel uplifted after a face to face with you.... no matter what you talked about haha!!!! Have a wonderful day Cass💗🙌💗🙌🙌💗🙌💗

God bless you for what you did.. some people have hope in having a home one day. And you give them something to think about and look forward to. I know there are some who are happy being homeless. But for those who desire their own place you gave them something to think about. God bless you

I love that you shared this story. Good job making the best of it and I’m sure you’re helping others more than you realized in that moment.

LOVE the apple trick. I'll definitely be using that one! As for your library experience - Wow. Just Wow. I can only imagine how awkward that was. Thank you for sticking with the folks there and blessing them. Our town has had a couple of famous homeless men: John "the Cross guy" - who walked all over town carrying a cross on a stick - He was a very sweet guy. I chatted with him every time I had a chance too. And the waving guy. He walked all over town smiling and waving at everyone. All the time. No matter the weather. They are people worth knowing!!!
