The "book of condolences" never existed. However, De Valera, IMHO, made a majorly serious blunder by offering his condolences to the German Ambassador in Ireland. Most people don't realize that Ireland was a Neutral country during WWII (the "Emergency" as they called it) - at least on paper. Ireland did help downed 'ally' pilots get home while imprisoning nazi pilots for the duration. As someone who has friends in both countries, it saddens me to see this happening. We should also distinguish between the leadership and the 'people'. Hate of another human being because of race, color, creed (religion), etc, has no place in today's society. Period.

Amazing amount of humanitarian aid had entered Gaza. So sad that so much has not been collected from the Gaza side of the crossing. I am a Canadian taxpayer and I continue to be sickened that my tax dollars are being wasted. Actually my money is rotting in the sun and or eaten by mice and rats. I might as well take my money out of my wallet and burn it to light my wood heating stove.
