This actually motivated me to start solving problems in my life (specifically the "taking care of the skeletons in my closet 1 by 1" part), so thank you. "you don't choose how you feel, you choose how you react" also hit me hard

I love that you didn't just let the skeleton on the kit randomly hit around. It actually matches the sound with an actual kit. You could've been lazy and no one cared. But you put in more effort and it's amazing.

I keep coming back to this song, I wasn't in the greatest of places at the end of 2022 but this is the one song I kept listening to through it, like others have said it's motivated me to try and turn things around, rebuilding relationships, taking better care of my health, and today I applied for university. So thank you for being an inspiration to many including myself. "You don't choose how you feel, but you choose how you react" has become a personal mantra to me lately and I've taken that to heart, such a powerful line.

too me this song felt more like ignoring the problem. I feel like he is only pretending to be okay
1:47 when the mode changes so suddenly it add to this feeling. "I cant change how I feel, but I can change how I react" is a double edged sword here. I think that the character is only pretending to be okay, in other words he is reacting as if he solved the problem when he hasnt changed anything and still feels the same. Its cemented to me with the "im doing fine, everythings fine" section and the fact that the skeletons are reforming as they get sent back into the closet to be ignored.
