Wow. Thanks. This is really nice. I´ve been wondering for a while how I could quickly creating areas where I can loop playback with a few clicks. Cheers.

Thanks as always. man! QUESTION- how do you separate the locators from the Range Selection tools? I saw you using it in one of your other videos and noticed that (unlike on my system) it wasn't linked with the locators. Thanks dude!

It took me 2 hours to figure out how to set the left and right locators. The documentation was of absolutely no help. I looked at a dozen videos. Nothing but useless bla bla bla. But at the 1 minute 10 second mark in this video you did it. Thank you.

Ha that P shortcut is great :)), Got another loop question though. Sometimes when i want to time a clip on hearing i need to zoom in to get more precision. But when doing that the screen also loops and you can't edit it annymore unless your stopping the music. I know there should be a way to loop the music whitout the screen looping but cant find it anywhere. Do you know it ?

Thanks so much! Great reference, totally forgot that the loop selection key was P and couldn’t remember for the life of me

Trying to get the locators to read beats/bars not timecode. Anyone know how that's done?

I have a midi track that I am trying to export as a loop.. the locators are set correctly and the midi notes/events are exactly locked onto the beat markers; but when I export it and try to put it into my MPC live theres like a small silent gap at the front of the audio clip so when it loops it skips* and is really frustratiing.. do you know of a more efficient way to export a midi loop so that it maintains its integrity as an audio file?

awesome videos, was wondering, my Shift G won't do the job (selecting, loop and play), but I am using Cubase 8, is there a difference between MAC and PC in the shortcuts?

have you found out how to SINGLE click the mouse to get the L&R locators in the same place? When comping vocal takes I used to cut it up and then keep mouse clicking at the next part to audition each take and so on. Now it seems we have to CTRL, ALT AND mouse click what WAS a simple mouse click by itself?

I have a question. When i set the locators to punch in and out, it is hard to hit the exact time place without zooming fully in and hitting the right spot, so is there a way to "quantisize" to make the locators hit right on the beat? i hope that makes sense

Is this still applicable to Cubase 14? I got stuck in some sort of weird reverse loop, and I can't get out of it when I try to record! Ugh.

What's the keyboard short cut to get the cursor to return to the start of the locator selection ? This would be the most useful short cut ...
