Deciding between the CRNA route and the Nurse Practitioner route can be difficult and may cross a lot of nurses' minds who are thinking about going into an advanced nursing practice role. In this video, I tell you my reasons in why I chose to go to CRNA school and the differences between the two professions.

This video is very inspiring, I am graduating next may and really want to work ICU and then apply to CRNA school. Im just scared my pre-nursing school grades aren’t good enough.

Np is oversaturated in certain states, but people should be able to find a decent job as long as people are willing to move and network.

True. I prefer CRNA to NP. Need my critical thinking working very fast than working on my people skills.

I don’t know if NP is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don’t even have time for my own kids any more 💔💔💔😔😔.

CRNA sounds great but I think I would be greatly discouraged because of the price😥. I’ll see when I get there.

I've been debating about crna or np. One of the only reasons I would like to do NP is to open my own clinics haha

SRNA now, but was an ACNP. Honestly being a ACNP was more fun. Way more broad knowledge base but not nearly the cash

Hi, I was wondering when you prepare the medications for the patient do you check the mars like when you are an rn ? Is there someone else that checks the medication to like reduce making an error?

Great content, but wow, the cuts every 5-10 seconds is quite irritating. Friendly feedback.

Does CRNA school have scholarship system?

When you’re editing, you don’t have to make so many cuts between words just fyi. You could literally just upload the full talking head format video and save yourself a lot of time cutting footage. It would be nearly identical quality video.

You are living my dream! I’m so jealous & happy for you. I’m an LPN and will be an RN by next Dec. I have been very fascinated in anesthesia and aspire to become a CRNA. The only problem is my fiancé & I have had the baby fever for a while and want to start a family within the next couple of years. We are 25. I always said I want to be 100% done with school before having kids. If I pursue this career, I’ll be done with school when I’m 30-31 and would have to wait to start a family until that age. I know that’s not old to have kids but we wanted them in the nearer future. Ugh do you have any advice about pursuing a career or a family? 🫤 I have also seen CAAs, which is a 2 year program and heard they make about the same amount of money as CRNAs do but for a year less of school (& debt). That may be better for me if I want to have kids a little sooner. Do you have any opinions on CAAs? Thank you for any advice 💜💜
