Juliet drives the new Toyota Starlet

Love that you review more affordable cars and judge them for what they are...and not constantly comparing the top speed, acceleration, cornering abilities etc to Lambos, BMW's, Porsche etc...like many other reviewers. Love my new Suzuki Ignis and perhaps when people realize the Starlet is a rebadged Suzuki it may get more people interested in the Suzuki brand.

There is a rav4 rebadged as a Suzuki in some countries...

Considering Toyot a owns a great percentage of suzuki, we will see much more rebadging between the 2 brands

I think the Toyotas grill makes it look better than suzukis also their trim offerings are better....

This proves that if one puts a "T" on another car, it will sell, albeit at a cheaper price. This deal is in Toyota's favour as its cheaper than the "supplier", Suzuki which makes it an easy sell for Toyota. Put the price up Toyota, let Suzuki sell a few more cars...

Lovely review..my problem here is it's got the Toyota badge does it still mean the Toyota reliability and all when they just slapped a badge on it. It's like putting a Rolls Royce Badge on a Toyota and then going on about the best in luxury. The Toyota badge is litrally just a mind thing in this case. Wait did you just rick roll everyone?!🤣

I think Toyota tried to reintroduce the Starlet range (GT Turbo and Glanza) from the 90s but to me, an avid Starlet fan and previous owner of the 90s GT Turbo model, I’m not impressed with this. Rather just give it a new name, especially since it’s a collaboration and doesn’t look or probably perform (haven’t tested the new one) anything close to the original. However, each to their own and some if not most will like it however to the purists, I doubt it.
