Don’t forget that the Hybrid upgrade is a prerequisite to buy IDEX! You can’t install IDEX without acquiring the Hybrid upgrade kit first. So if you’re buying the V-Core 4 for the first time and want an IDEX machine, make sure to select both upgrades on the product configurator.

The hybrid system added to coreXY is genius but the way it facilitates this super fast IDEX is genius of another level. I wanted a 500 mm V-Core 4 IDEX even before the nice marketing videos. For my functional designs, an IDEX printer makes much more sense that the MMU that is so popular now for printing in 16 colors... taking four times as long with more poop than print.

This video is totally misleading. I have assembled a complete V4 IDEX and the VAOC and End Stop calibration is still not working after two solid weeks of trying. Many of the instructions for the build were just flat out wrong. Even the software programmers that wrote the RatOS say that the instructions for these calibrations are wrong and buggy. This video is an example of selling something that is not ready for the public. Only buy if you know everything about Klipper and how all of the mechanics and software work, this is not a plug and play machine.

Tengo una IDEX hace unos 3 años, una Sovol SV04. La vengo usando de todas las maneras y es increíble. No necesito de super velocidades, imprimo mis geometrías (muy complejas) con Grasshopper+Rhinoceros, va fenomenal.y no es cara. En un futuro, cuando pueda pagar, me compro una IDEX RatRig :)
La Sovol va con Marlin, en la comunidad mundial de la impresora no hay nadie que la tenga haciendo de todo (y bien) con Kñipper.
Saludos desde Barcelona, un día me compro una Rat Rig IDEX.

When you release the multicolor upgrade can you install it on both toolheads? ore by 2 and when one reloades the other one prints?

That stopper to prevent the nozzle from leaking is genius. So simple and then you don't have to go through all of the extra steps to purge the nozzle before continuing. Probably speeds up the process a ton. I can see basically every MM system stealing this idea (assuming it's not patented).

So if I'm ordering a completely new printer, and I click the "customize and add to cart" everything check is what I need to have a complete basic printer right? I don't need what is not check by default right? Like I don't need the "1 x Bed Plate - Cast tolling plate" or the "1 x RASBERY PI"?

So to get it with IDEX I would need to check "...HYBRID Upgrade Kit", and all 4 items in the IDEX section?

any chance you guys will make a video on how to use each idex setting? a bit confused on the setup for copy. reason is I am using 2 different PLA's from different manufactures. Not sure if copy function is best for this scenario
