Let me tune you about the VW Tiguan R

I can't say I am all that convinced by performance-based family SUVs and all, and I do love the VW Tiguan and am not sure it requires any more oomph. However, if someone gifted me the Tiguan R I think I would be pretty chuffed. Except for the hard ride, but otherwise, I might just be convinced that a Tiguan R is all I need.

That Lapiz Blue in A Tiguan is Mooi. Even the facelift R Line in the Blue looks good with the 20 inch Suzuka Rims is nice. This is expensive but it's still cheaper than rivals from BMW & Merc plus it's the range topper. I'll settle for the 162kw R Line. Good enough. Fast enough. Looking for that Lapiz Blue as a Vinyl Wrap for my 2019 Model. Colours available don't come close.

So I have this car on test at the moment and the performance exhaust WAS R69k and then yesterday I was back on the configurator and suddenly it's R73k 😕

The only thing I'm thinking about besides the price is how often you'll have to straighten/repair those massive low profile rims on Gauteng roads. Don't get me wrong. Love the look of them, but I don't know if anything but a 60 profile on our roads will do these days, or at least lessen the damage. This thing is made for billiard table European roads.

There doing what Subaru did with the Forester XT turbo. They saw Subaru exit the market and turn to their peasent piss weak hybrid and VW pounced on a mid size suv that looks better and performs better. Anyone who doesn't understand performance suvs shouldn't be looking at one.
