I love plants and have them in the garden, in pots on the patio and on the house. My string of hearts lives outside on the patio nearest the house. With it I have a string of pearls. They love it outside better than inside. I also have several orchids that bloom sometimes twice a years. I love my Codiaeum and it has flowered several times over the last few years. Unfortunately I am allergic to the pollen so must snip the flower buds. You should try it out, it grows quite tall and large. It loves my south facing window. The garden, inside and out provide a calming quiet place to be. Happy gardening!

My grama had hundreds of Oxalis in her back yard when I was a kid. Some purple, but most of them were green. Our desert tortoises used to rest under them during the day (and smash them as they walked through!). Where I live now, it's too cold to have them growing outside during the winter, and since we have cats, we can't have them inside. Every time I see them though, they make me think of my grama. ❤

I love succulents, cacti and orcids, I have a nice collection of them. And one of my resently purchased cacti flowered this summer! That has never happened with me before.❤ Also I have several epipremnum aureum, also called golden photos (among many other names). This is a very easy plant to care for, and I have been able to cultivate several more separate plants from the mother plant! I need plants I can forget about for a week or even two weeks! No watering every day plant survives at my place I’m afraid!😂

I'm from Central America, and is very common to keep the Monstera deliciosa in gardenes, but what most people don't know is that they can give eatable fruits, I've never tried them, but I heard they're delicious, hence their name

I love plants, and discovering more about each plant as well. I find it so relaxing to spend time with the plants and gardening.

That's a wonderful collection of plants! Now I'm thinking about getting the string of hearts 🤔
As for the plants recommendation, I'm a big fan of the Schlumbergera plants. I have few in my house. They are super easy to care for and propagate. AND they bloom in winter months! So beautiful!

You are a proud plant parent! Good one you! Over the years, I've grown and had many house plants, including a pineapple. Currently, I have 3 that are over 30 years old -- a ficus tree (Ficus benjamina), a maple bonsai (Acer palmatum), and a succulent jade plant (Crassula ovata). I've had them since they were babies. I also have a blooming orchid, 4 blooming African violets, numerous jade plant babies and a Christmas Cactus that decided it's a Thanksgiving and Easter Cactus. It is so satisfying being a plant parent....I love them all, too.

I found a little, dried up bonsai tree abandoned in the hall of a storage building. I thought it was dead but upon inspection there was a singular green leaf. I took it home to see if I could coax it back to life. A year later, it is thriving under the window sill next to it's friendship plant pal. They bring me such joy.
