Never knew I needed a jaguar vi. Thanks. That’s an awesome, fun toy!

After seeing so many of my fellow lefties struggling to find a lefty guitar, I’m so thankful for my guitar teacher when I was a kid who told me “Forget that you’re left handed when you pick up a guitar. Learn to play right handed. I won’t teach you as a lefty. Thank me later.” He was right.

When Mick Abraham's, the original lead guitarist for Jethro Tull left them, he started a band called Blodwyn Pig, and his bassist played a Bass VI, and I saw them play 3 times at the old Fillmore East in 1970. It is a great guitar for any guitar player that wants to play bass.

Not to nerd out, but there is something really cool about watching a guitar demo and hearing Oasis-ticket chatter in the middle of it. It's almost as good as last year when I asked my guitar student if they heard the "new" Beatles song lol crazy

8:06 Lee is absolutely right. There is a community of Bass VI players using this guitar as a low-tune metal beast. And more and more YT creators are getting into it.

I myself bought a Bass VI to play Meshuggah, Deftones, etc.

As a Bass VI aficionado, I am FIGHTING the urge to impulse-buy that silver one.

I’ll take all of ‘em. In all the colors. It’ll still be cheaper than a top end and I’ll have so many more options for activities!

Apart from the recognisable parts, and perhaps even with them, I was getting massive Stranglers vibes in that jam.
Nice!

I love the Bass VI - The Beatles used them, in particular Lennon in Get Back. I have a TBX on my Baritone wired to cut treble one way and bass the other, which I did so the baritone sits in a band mix.
