Dropped my 2020 in my jacuzzi went all the way to the bottom actually sent bubbles up and it still works albeit I had a cover on but no issues

Motorola device has fantastic nearly perfect stock Android experience that’s what I like it about them cameras are ok.

Good phone but why did Motorola take away the dual stereo speakers and action camera view is my question 🤔. Plus no NFC. When upgrading its about adding more not subtracting features imo.

Thank you for the review. Actually purchased the 2020 version last year as the upgrade to the moto X4 which I still have. The 4X is now showing some issues and will be the backup to the 2020 version which I just started using today. Prior to that it was used as a WAP while working remotely. I'm still tempted to upgrade to a Nexus because I use a google voice number and I anticipate that using a google phone with a google number will prove advantagous. This review is great because it introduces me to the dual speakers!

Thanks a lot for the review and how in depth the comparison was. I've been thinking about this phone and was wondering if the price difference was worth getting the 2021 version or if it'd be better to save a little cash with the older model. I think I'm sold on the new model. Thanks again!!

As a side note, I exclusively use headphones so it's not a big negative for me but wow the sound quality of the 2021 one is horrible in comparison O.o

The Pro feature on the camera for some of us is huge. It allows extended exposure times well over 10 seconds! Great for night shots.

not going to lie the dual speaker loss makes the 2021 version almost worse if your not into screen sizes...

Great vid, Getting a new one.
I edit out the suns glare from friends pics of sunsets and stormy clouds with this phone and send them back totally different, with very in depth stunning colors not visible to the human eye. People cant believe the dark true colors hidden by the suns glare that they cant get rid of on their high end phones and ask me how i can get these pics so colorful.... Motorola's photo features.
Its almost like a service doing this.

The stylus aren't regular cheap $5 stylus. The moto stylus pen won't work at all with other devices. I tried using the pen with my Moto G Power and other devices and NOTHING HAPPENED. I used a cheap $5 stylus on the Moto G Stylus 2020 and used the moto stylus and the difference was significant. The built-in moto stylus was FAR BETTER. It isn't on par with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite stylus but it is way better than the cheap $5 stylus.
