North Koreans marked the country’s 74th anniversary on September 9, 2022, by visiting statues of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. The day before, state media reported the country had passed a law declaring itself an “irreversible” nuclear power. The move effectively eliminated the possibility of denuclearisation talks, tabled since 2019.

I've never heard Kim Jong-un speak before. His voice is deeper than I imagined it would be.

Fun fact : North Korea was the only modern nuclear power to sign a treaty of total denuclearisation, this didn't happen as no other power signed it but them.

North Korea doesn't want Nukes, it needs the however for the same reason the Soviets kept on building bombs when the US did.

Except the dude doesn't realise that those nukes won't save him, if Uncle Sam is really coming for him. Those antique nukes are nothing compared to modern missile defence systems like THAAD and S-400/S-500.

If Iraq and Ukraine have nuclear weapons. Some so-called superpowers won't dare to attack them.

See the Satellite image of North Korea during the night time. Then you will know the reality of NK. You can easily locate the capital Pyongyang at night time because of a single white dot. Remaining parts of NK are mostly dark.

Honestly at this point, besides there covert groups that exist in China and South Korea, North Korea nuclear weapons and there threats are harmless. They will never act upon it and the world while still fascinated by NK largely is done with their tricks.

Who were we kidding that any country that obtain nuclear power would ever consider getting rid of it?
