Now people will understand and close their jaws after it’s dropped after getting an estimate from an upholsterer. It takes years of skill and knowledge and it’s an art. I took a course on these traditional methods but we learned how to use tacks. It was very, very difficult and a ton of work and very, very time consuming. So fascinating to watch. I tried this about 40 years ago but the teacher was very impatient. There were 5 of us students. I was the second to quit and sadly the rest followed soon after. He was very condescending especially to us 2 females. You make me want to get out my old tools and give it another try! Thanks.
