Tall Pine Tree Quilt Block Tutorial!!

Welcome to my channel Quilty friends!
In this video I'm showing you how to make my
9" x 30" (finished size) Tall Pine Tree Quilt Block.
I am using my latest fabric collection called HOME TOWN HOLIDAY and I'll be making two of these blocks for a fun Home Town Holiday Table-Topper.
Next week I'll do a tutorial for the pieced block that goes in-between the two pine trees:)

CUTTING RECIPE-
A - Cut 2 - 4" x 4 1/4" squares (background fabric)
B - Cut 1 - 2 1/2" x 9 1/2" (background fabric)
C - Cut 2 - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" (background fabric)
D - Cut 12 - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (background fabric)
E - Cut 2 - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" (background fabric)
F - Cut 2 - 1" x 21" (background fabric)
G - Cut 1 - 2 1/2" x 9 1/2" (background fabric)
H - Cut 1 - 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" (green fabric)
I - Cut 6 - 3 1/4" x 8 1/2" (green fabrics)
J - Cut 1 - 2 1/2" x 7" (red fabric)
K - Cut 1 - 2" x 4" (brown fabric)
L - Cut 2 - 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" (background fabric)

I watched the video of the tour of your house & of course just fell in love with it 🥰🥰 I can't imagine having that much light-how great! I sew on our dining room table because it's just me & Randy & we don't use it 🤣🤣 I have a big window & overhead light but it's not near as light as your area looks to be.

I really like all the tips and the "whys" shared in the videos, eg, trimming at least 1/4" when cutting off extra fabric on easy corner triangles. Sometimes I was cutting off less than 1/4" if I had large triangles and I was sewing another seam to save an extra triangle for another project. I actually prefer for my design boards to be borderless so that I can lay blocks together and not be distracted by another fabric. Thanks for sharing.
