We couldn’t decide if we wanted a TRADITIONAL wedding cake, MODERN wedding cake or dessert, or an UNCONVENTIONAL dessert for our guests…so we ventured around Cape Town (the closest “big city” to our wedding venue) for three very different wedding cake and dessert tastings. Yummm! Great you looked into alternatives for wedding cake (although the cake you choose looked delicious!) We had bejeweled fruit tarts for our wedding ‘cake”. They were so beautiful and refreshing for a hot summer wedding 20+ years ago. Cheers 🥂
