This helped my putting from a greater distance. Before I wasn't really getting my stance right, but now I make most of those longer distance putts when it's calm outside.

The one thing that we can all take away from this is the confidence in his putts. All the technique in the world won't help if you wimp out mentally at the last second and don't "finish" your putt. You know what I mean, your arm is halfway through the motion and your'e already thinking it won;t go in so you tweak your arm or flick your wrist....  no no. See it going in. That confidence is a big factor in keeping your motion consistent. FWIW. He does not put his thumb opposite his middle finger on the flight plate.

I don't get all the hate on this video. It clearly says Tips in the title. Not complete instructional video, step by step, for people who have no idea how to putt. Putting is very personal. Just do it and see what works for you.
