The reason I use the hole on the tongue is cause it helps make the laces shorter so I don’t have to tuck the laces to get a loose laced look.

Just bought my first pair of Nikes, then bought another pair haha. First time owning expensive shoes other than work boots. I don’t like the tying in the front method, but having the laces hang out on the side I don’t like the looks of either. So confused haha
