What do you think of the new models from Specialized?

In late August picked up my 2021 Levo Comp in oak green metallic. I absolutely love it! Far exceeded my expectations, at 62 years young it has been a game changer.

Got my 2021 Kenevo Comp back in August and every time I ride it I cant stop smiling. Get the same feeling I did when I first started mountain biking 21 years ago with just flying up the hill. And the thing is just mad fast on the descents. Really stable in the air too. The 500wh battery gives me about 2 hours around Innerleithen or the Golfie which is more than enough for me. Also really fun to climb munros on too. Absolutely love the thing but have changed a load of the stock parts.

Bought the Brassy yellow base Levo. LOVE IT. It's opened a new world for me. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'm doing 20-30 miles everyday. Instead of just a few miles in pain on my analog.

Nice bikes. But I can't justify the high prices. My YT Decoy Elite was 6999.00 with fox factory 38s factory dropper and factory shock. Carbon frame, and crankbrothers carbon ebike specific rims. Prices need to come down to where people can afford them.

I've been riding a Turbo Levo Comp for the last four years and it's been a revelation. It has changed the way I ride and I can't see myself ever going back to non ebike riding as I get older. However, I'm reluctant to pay the asking price for these 2021 models so will continue to maintain my present ride with suitable upgrades such as improved brakes. What I would consider paying big money for would be something like an ebike motor with step-less auto transmission - this has to be the future!

Personally I find the regular levo comp as the sweet spot as far as price and value goes. I’ve ridden both the SL version and regular version and I still don’t understand why you’d pay more for less motor, power, torque and suspension.

I have a 2020 levo comp. Changed the fork, to 160 from 150 and to the rc2 damper. Then finally changed the rear shock to a coil and over stroked it to give me about 158 of rear travel! Can ride any xc trail and back down any gnarly dh trail! I really don't think, you need a kenevo. But if I had the money I would buy one in a heart beat!

Classic EMBN excluded review of the Levo Comp with 700 batt. The bike that many will favor.

I have the SWorks TL 2021, extremely lucky to have it and it is a total game changer. Whilst v expensive, it basically removes the need to upgrade anything and if you are busy, then you are investing in the best of the best. I am hoping this is reflected in resale when I come to change as I have recently discovered not all warranties are created equal (Note to Haibike, shame on you) and the Spesh can transfer warranty

Prices have gone up on these in the last few days. The turbo Levo you mentioned is now £4800, not £4500. I was looking at a 2020 Levo Expert this time last year. It was £7250 last year, and now £8500!! £1250 more. 😂 Funny thing is, it looks like they’ve been selling them all.

Kenevo is and always going to be my choice. Just my preference, everyone has different tastes. It's all about having fun, It's not a competition. Well for me it's not. I just like being out whenever I can. Although I didn't/couldn't buy the Kenevo 2020 model due to awaiting stock for a few months. I still like the beast!

Really interested in a Turbo Kenevo Expert but Specialized says no bikes until April 2021 in the USA. Yikes. Willing to wait though.

I was looking at getting a Levo but waiting for house sale. Then found out all sold out until next year.
So I then found Frey for top of the range gear but not so expensive + a Befang ultra 1000w motor, so just going to keep it set to low speed so motor won't overheat

Thanks for the info if I wasn’t a specialized fan I’d think this was an infomercial.

Ive got a 2019 Levo and love it (though I've upgraded most parts on it, SRAM brakes and Rovel wheels are awful)... I don't like the way the prices are having a massive hike. I know it's supply and demand and theres been a massive rush on ebikes - but something like the Cube Stereo is way better spec'd and far better value for money. Can't see my next bike being a Specialized if they carry on the way they are.

I just started researching to buy a Levo and test rode one. It had the sram NX shift set and it shifted very clunky... even with barely any pressure (just rotating to shift) AND it only shifts one gear/cog at a time. To me this has kept me from buying.
I believe the $7500 comp version has better shifting and can grab 3x? Gears for quicker action?
Thoughts please
