It's always a challenge to find a nice and affordable restaurant when you're on vacation.
In this video, I will show you my personal favorite restaurants in Edinburgh. Some might be a little more expensive than others, but in the end I am positive that there will something for everyone's wishes.

The restaurants in this video are:
- Theatre Royal Bar
- Hard Rock Cafe
- Vittoria on the Bridge
- Greyfriars Bobby Bar
- Johnnie Walker Rooftop Bar

If you have other recommendations, feel free to write them in the comment section.

I was hoping for more obscure local places. Edinburg has an amazing food scene, and many, many small places that are off the hook good. For what one would pay at Hard Rock or the Johnny Walker store, an excellent meal can be had at Three Birds or Kora in Bruntsfield. Additionally, neither of those places has one ‘exit through the gift shop.’ 😂 I agree with the others you listed, especially Vittoria.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. Had a terrible experience at Greyfriars Bobby with a waitress who couldn't care less about her guests, so this place will never see me again. I'm a regular visitor and usually my go to place is one of the Vittoria restaurants.

not sure I would want hard rock making this list.

I live in la, and would pray that hard rock doesn't make it on that list. surely both cities have better local places. la certainly does.

and i remember edinburgh having them too

I'm a person whose postal address has been Edinburgh for 50 I travel to London a depend on restaurants from that point of view ~ I agree the Theatre Royal is very other choices are Noto, probably that is my personal Nichols top floor Sheraton Hotel the more demotic experiences, I would say BrewDog in Lothian jostle with the Abbey in South Clerk Street ~ the most independent bar, I like their female company lives in Leeds, my favourite conversationalist is in London.
