How Ireland is Devastated by its Immigration Crisis

Ireland has a long history of emigration and previous generations fled hunger and hardship to settle in other countries where they were often met with discrimination. But they persisted, integrated, and now this is now a proud part of their national consciousness.

This explains in part why Ireland has historically had an above-average positive view of refugees compared to other European countries. And this made it an uncomfortable topic when immigration turned to mass immigration and the country struggled to cope with the increasing numbers of new arrivals.

It is not a Ireland migration crisis. It is all over Europe. Exactly the same.

For politicians this is all just a game, while all of our lives get ruined.

In Germany, the government also claims that we need immigration due to talent shortage. Unfortunately, the majority of the arriving people go directly into the social system with no desire of taking up any job.

The Irish people should be afforded a referendum to address this issue I am disgusted with this government.

Ireland is an ethnostate like Japan and have lived here for thousands of years, We were fine getting immigrants but no steps were put in to preserve the native population and now 1 in 5 people were born outside of Ireland, this is an emergeny and should never have been allowed happen, We are not the US or Canada, We are not an immigrant country and should not strive to be one.

We are absolutely fed up with this virtue signalling and pathological compassion that's destroying our country

Did the Irish emigrate to Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Turkey etc.? No, they went to white christian countries. How would they have been received in a non-white Muslim country?

I myself was an immigrant here almost 25 years ago, they needed skilled people and I came and integrated fully with the local culture and traditions. I've loved every moment of the 24 years here, my children have grown up here and identify as Irish. We all have Irish citizenship through naturalization and did it the correct way. Today I have a small business which is thriving at the moment but it could all change.

Not all immigration is equal.

You bring people with troubling views on women and children and those not of the same faith this is what you get

Nationalism is not a dirty word. Cultural identity is paramount to the future of a country. Diversity is not a strength. Citizens ARE diverse in thought and experiences. Grow internally. Importing people is never a solution. Not enough people? Then encourage births... and focus focus focus on education, morals, responsibilities, and cultural values.

I live and work in Dublin City, the demise is obvious and harrowing on so many levels, I work close to the school where the stabbing of the teacher and children took place, I witness the demise of the city on a daily basis, homelessness, drugs, culture clashing and an overwhelming suffocating influx of men from cultures where women are less some of the women who are arriving from other shores are years behind the Irish women of today. I can only hope, that's all I have, HOPE, that integration will happen because Irish people and women have worked hard towards an equal society. NUTS is how I describe the Ireland I live in today. BONKERS...we're going backwards. It's bizarre, there is no respect for our hard earned stability and our ancient culture. The influx of immigrants with their own strong cultures is suffocating. I want to yell HELP, help us! But I also want to say thank you to those who show up in numbers to protect this small island. This is a worldwide phenomenon which can be logically construed as a deliberate misplacement of people worldwide from their homelands. So I can only wonder WHY? Is there a religious cultural meaning behind all of this upheaval, I think there might be. My heart is heavy with wondering so I shall continue to live and love as an Irish woman as best as I can. But I'm still screaming HELP inside!!

So here's me, EU citizen migrated from Croatia to IE simply because there's no IT sector back home that can provide the job I educated myself for and love to work. Paying almost 2000€ a month in taxes to Irish government, so that it can give it away to people who live in hotels, have all their needs paid for, are saving more than me, and buying houses or - worse are so ungrateful that they even resort to violence. We're not all the same, and I do completely understand why Irish person would change their view of me. I'm not even Irish and I do want to move away from all this madness that greedy bastards in suits have gotten this beautiful nation in to. Which is sad because I do love you Éire.

They always speak of diversity and cultural enrichment and exotic food, but these things are only provided by the people who have immigrated correctly. But right now it'S just importing slums from some faraway country

Just been to Ireland on holiday. Noticed while waiting for buses. All these buses with Gaelic destinations on the front but full of Arabs and africans. The change is massive..
