Tillering and N Economyof Low-density Maize Crops

Prof. Gustavo Maddonni will present novelty results of N economy of tillered maize crops based on the nitrogen balance and the Nitrogen nutrition index (NNI) framework. Results will be presented at canopy and shoot level (N-economy of main shoots vs
tillers) and N dilution curve will be tested at both levels.
