I see myself in this man. I am a 31 year old Civil Engineering Technologist and I survive on about 45-50% of my salary. I just finished paying off my vehicle and I'm jumping head first into the property market... I've been scared to do so but I have nothing to lose, Ngingena nge khanda manje.

One thing to take from this is buy assets with your salary and your assets will buy you the life you want 👊

This episode made me realize that Black tax is pulling a lot of young people back. It definitely is giving back to your parents who raised you, raising/assisting with your siblings to make life easier for them, but the truth of the matter is, those who do not have that responsibility are a lot of steps ahead, contingent of the right mindset! This is a lesson to us young people to create a secure future for our kids or build before rushing into marriage/having kids so that we can create a solid financial foundation for them. This is what we call "a legacy", not bringing kids into struggle so that they can take care of you. Lets create a new thing, and not repeat generational burdens!

It's not by chance that this interview is getting a lot of views, Percy is genuine, realistic and does not succumb to pressure. From the first time I listened to his interview 2 years ago on another platform the guy has not changed his thinking and lifestyle plushe sparked that interest in me to be interested in property, he simplified things. I absolutely enjoyed this interview thanks Witness for bringing him thru.

12:57 > He is actually telling the truth, I am using the same approach myself!

e.g.: What I do is that I first check how much is:
1. Service fee
2. Admin charge amount
3. Insurance fee
4. Interest charge

other loans don't have all of the above, what You have to do is minus the all the amount from the installment amount and then pay that amount as an extra amount to the loan - this will allow you to pay the loan quicker and the interest charge will drop monthly till you finish paying.

"I don't remember a day where I ate the rest of the salary and I didn't save for something... Beause there's always a goal that I need to save for." ✅✅
