A series of short films
-------------
This episode gives an insight in the life of contemplative sister Clara, who lives in a convent in Kyiv-Zhytomyr, Ukraine. The vocation of the Benedictine Sisters is the perpetual adoration of God through prayer and work. Sr. Clara and her sisters might seem invisible to the world, but they see a great meaning in praying for all the people in their country, who have been suffering so much up to this day.

When I lived in San Francisco there was a Convent with Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Haight/Ashbury district. I would visit once a week for 1 hour. During special holiday’s, adoration was available to the public with the sister 24 hours for 3 days. Adoration was amazingly well attended I found. I moved to Sacramento 5 years ago. I dearly missed that monastery.
