Emmanuel (Mammootty) is working at Kerala Publishing house in Kochi for the last 15 years. Though belongs to a middle class family, he leads a contented life with his wife Annie and their son Robin. Robin is studying in the second grade.

Though Emmanuel gets only a meager salary, they happily live in their rented house. But they too have the dream to own a house of their own.

It is at this time Emmanuel lost his job, shattering all his dreams. The problems and obstacles faced by him and his valiant efforts to overcome them are plotted in Lal Jose's 'Emmanuel - Daivam Nammodu Koode'.

New face Reenu Mathews dons the role of Annie and Master Gauri Krishna does Robin. Mukesh is also seen in an important role.
