In this week’s episode, we explore a 216-square-metre freehold penthouse with a large roof terrace. The family sought a timeless, clutter-free design, where storage is cleverly concealed behind closed doors. Architect Woon Chung Yen, founder of Metre Architects, focused on geometry and materiality to define the space, using material contrasts to play with light and shadow.

living room feels constrained but the rest of the penthouse is spacious. the staircase going up looks like a basic tenement building, i wouldve used timber or concrete for a more upscale look.

i like these designs but I noticed a common theme between them all they don’t give coziness to the desktop room / space it’s either a strict wooden theme or too simplistic design
