I like CP and i like the A 350. A lot.
But my all time favorite plane in the actual livery will always be their 747-400. That was the ultimate beast. The old airport Kai Tak was an adventure to land. The so called checker board aproach. Had that in 1996 when i flew to HK for the first and only time. Absolutely insane. Goose bumps even after that long time.

Aloha SP! Awesome video! I don’t know how you are able to take these amazing 8hr+ inflight videos. You have a bionic arm💪 being able to hold a iPhone steady that long. Great job as always! Mahalo for sharing!

That was absolutely awesome. The 350 is a beautiful aircraft. The clouds in this vid were spectacular. Thank you so much.

Enjoyed your turboprop hops in Australia, and this one is no different. Scenic departure and great flight! I read your "Fun Fact" for this video, looks like you flew mostly OneWorld carriers for your round-the-world-trip. That's a lot of miles accrued for sure!

Around 36:17 into the video, one can see the new Western Sydney International airport in the distance (under the second outboard flap track), which will help alleviate some of the congestion at the current Kingsford Smith Int'l. It's due to open in 2026.

Glad you got on the A350 again! And remarkably smooth flight considering how many CBs were in your path over Indonesia. Also it's funny how the first few hours are just getting out of largely empty Australia 😅

WOWOWOWOW!!!! And he's off on the next leg of his Super-Amazing Race around the world!! Good views of the Australian interior. How do you like HKG's new incarnation? When I was in HK in 1993, planes were still taking off from Kai Tak, which had only one runway. Their new airport is ultra-modern, ultra-efficient and has the fewest delays of any major international airport on this planet.

And... they turned Kai Tak into a cruise terminal, and also into a park and recreational area. Very impressive act of land use management on their part I say.

Anyhow, we still have about 90, , 000 people without power here. The Issaquah and Sammamish area are the most affected. What happened was the huge pressure gradient in the storm pulled in air from over in Eastern WA, causing it to rush over onto our side of the Cascades, causing tremendous damage.

Anyhow, I feel jet lagged from watching this video. I think I'll rest up by watching The Seven Ups (1973) with Roy Scheider as the lead. He did this before doing Jaws, but he was still reeling with PTSD from dealing with The French Connection. This movie has a terrific and memorable car chase sequence thru the streets of NY with early 70s vehicles.

So... another fine, Super-Fantabulous video on your part... keep raking in those Gold Medals.

Almost half way through the trip around the world - were you exhausted at the end?? Tks for your videos - really enjoy them!! Nice leg room for that seat. And - breakfast and dinner. Cathay is obviously based in HKG - I didn't know that - after 38 years in the airline business I'm still learning - lol.

Wow, what's your secret for recording the entire flight non-stop? Do you get up for bathroom breaks?

The A350 is a very comfortable aircraft to fly in. Very quiet and easier to sleep in than other aircrafts I've flown on (except on Frenchbee's A350, that flight was not comfortable at all)

Oh my, it's too bad you didn't sit on the right side on takeoff, the view of CBD and the Harbour would've been amazing.
