It was a great documentary. It made me cry and i could not sleep that night at all. I felt like a fraud and my soul crashed. I've been on a journey to do my best to use as less plastic as possible. I need to try harder to become a low waste consumer. I ate plant based for a year until I got pregnant and I had to drop the began diet for my baby because I was afraid my baby would not get enough from my diet. I still eat fish at the moment, but I already made the decision to stop. I never ate beef, I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that one of the most innocent animal on planet who doesn't kill other animals to survive get's slaughtered for us, humas, the worst creatures on this earth

Gonna listen to your full podcast tomorrow at work but I've watched the doc. Tbh, I've always aligned my veganism with the environmental stuff too. Many vegans seem to not want to talk about that, but it's a huge stick to beat the animal ag industry with given its destructive nature for us all (including meat eaters). I didn't actually see a lot in the documentary that hasn't been mentioned in the past in films like Ice On Fire, Before The Flood, Cowspiracy and even movies from as far back as 2009 ie. The Age of Stupid. There are also many books on the subject. There Is No Planet B, the horrific Uninhabitable Earth, and Naomi Kleins On Fire.

Nice review thanks, my only criticism of the film, it did not explain just how close we are to Armageddon. Timelines were not impressed, 9 of the 15 critical (existential) tipping points are now on the move and there is a growing anxiety among the scientific literate that locked in heating has already passed the point that ensures the destruction of human civilisation.

Problem; carnist have a need to feed. Solution; feed the need Consumption of life is what's going on inside (YOU'RE NO GOOD, YOU'RE UGLY) example of inner struggle. We all know. Kill the cause by priority switch. Current priorities revolve around things (house, boat, car), YOU must be the priority. You, me, them, life becomes the new priority. You no longer feel unappreciated because you are the priority and you no longer feel ugly because you are life and life is beautiful.
