I tried pruning and not pruning peppers, and since we don’t have long hot summers, for me not pruning was better. I didn’t have to wait for the branching to produce peppers. Wayland I have to say, since I’m making plans to start my own deep mulch garden I look at the earth and plants much differently. There is a vacant rental by us and when the owners weed whacked the, what used to be a lawn but is now a pasture, I pushed a wheelbarrow and rake over and brought several loads home. My husband thinks I’m ‘odd’ but I have a plan! I will save everything I can this summer and follow your advice. Thanks! Oh, I just planted 83 sweet potato slips on Memorial Day. Wish me luck!

I haven't planted everything out yet but I'm hoping by the end of the week to have it all out in the garden. And that's great you're giving some away.
