'North EP' Release Date: 6th October 2017

Helsinki based producer Otto Yliperttula a.k.a Yotto has made quite the mark on electronic music over the past 18 months. Accumulating an unprecedented five ‘Essential New Tunes’ from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and two ‘Hottest Records In The World’ from Annie Mac, recent months have also seen Yotto deliver remixes for the likes of Gorillaz and Christian Löffler.

Yotto now returns to Anjunadeep for his boldest release to date, the 5-track ‘North EP’. Inspired by time spent in rural Finland during a spell off the road, the new EP sees Otto showcase his captivating dancefloor sound whilst also venturing into new territory. The EP has been created so that the music flows from start to finish, giving the listener a full 25 minute listening experience.

I discovered this on my walks in 2020. The gyms had closed, so all I had was the suburban streets at sunset and under what stars I could see past the light pollution.
