You add two or tree monitors to that, some discord, youtube video, maybe screensharing and doing other tasks the 9800x3d looses heavy! Also gaming at 1440p or 4k the difference is minor! From my understanding the 9950x can barely keep up with the 285k? In specific scenarios i believe one or the other tops the bar but for gaming and multitasking the I 9 285k comes out on top.

gaming king in 1080p very low and with top gpu only if u are using 4060 4070 and setting ultra u can use any cpu and will get around the same performance or even better in 2k-4k

If Intel is still the gaming king? It hasn’t been the gaming king for years now. First the 5800X3D then the 7800X3D and now the 9800X3D demolished it. They cannot compete with 3D V-cache CPUs in gaming. Still very good for productivity apps but the gaming ship has long sailed away.
