The week of 6-12 September 2020 came roaring in with high winds and grass fires. One of the worst fires to ever hit Southern Oregon, The Almeda Fire devastated the town of Talent and Phoenix. Many homes and businesses were burned to ash. I was at home, only a few miles from the fire lines, watching as embers fell from the sky and threatened everything. Here is how things look, as of 11 September 2020. The sky is dark with smoke, the ground is covered in ash. The entire landscape just bears an ominous dim about it.

Glad to see you are doing ok. These fires and the smoke are horrible. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts.

Your video literally starts at my house. I probably shouldn't get more specific than that on the internet, haha. What a coincidence though.

We are getting smoke particulates here in Central New York this week. Mostly sky and sun shading nothing like sucking retardant and thick smoke. Been there don’t want to experience that again . Lightning spot fires .
Sorry for whatever reason I put first comment on Tim’s post I must have been reading it when I clicked for comment.
