Right thing here to say is i would wait for second generation of the Galaxy Fold now that i have seen it in the wild, and its not long either to wait until 2nd Gen Fold is released. The fold is cool but i'm waiting for the Galaxy Flip phone, now that's a game changer to what the Motorola Razr are working on.

I can't understand why any sane individual would pay $2000 for this device. Get a tablet for those odd occasions that it is needed ($200) and a Galaxy S10 ($1000)!

CNET needs to start recognizing that a device like this (especially, being 1st Gen.) is more geared towards the "Prosumer" and not necessarily the "Consumer". CNET in general has been a consumer review site whereas ZDnet is more for the Prosumer.

I'd say Samsung did as well as anyone could for bringing brand spanking new tech to the masses(Original iPhone anyone?) . Obviously people are interested since they sold out on pre orders.

You need to do more research on why certain things are happening the way they are like the charger. The charger that comes in the box is a fast charger the one you tried that was charging it slowly was probably not
