The Last Boat Upgrade (Narrowboat Life)

Our Boat Dog Sebastian see's his first sunrise. We have moved down the canal to Wrenbury, to meet with Caldwells and have our boat skylights replaced. It's a costly week, but so worth it for us. Is this finally our last boat upgrade?

I was horrified at the state of those skylights and that they had failed you shortly after installation! Oakums let you down seriously and should have replaced them free of charge.

Sebastian does not look just 10 weeks old, he’s one chunky, adorable puppy! His coat is quite long already with beautiful colouring. Your drawing of handsome Beau is just lovely Paul. Hope you have a nice relaxing timeout and your skylights are everything you need them to be, mainly waterproof!

So disappointing that the skylights failed so quickly but the new ones are a lot nicer, lower profile and that shaded glass gives you more privacy as well. Paul your art work is just amazing, love the time-lapse of that work coming together.

Caldwells did a great job with your skylights, hopefully give you some faff free boating for some time. Loved the drawing, the way that dog just came to life on the paper.

The new skylights look very modern and sleek, I seriously hope this is the end of the problem. I jumped when the suction cup let go🤯. You had lots of help with the switch over, you’re lucky to have such great friends🥰👍🏼. It’s disheartening when you build a home and materials start to fail. Like you, I’ve had so many repairs done this winter and my house is barely two years old. Ugh. On a brighter note, Sebastian is a CHONK! But what a beautiful boy he is. And he certainly likes his daddies within eyesight. 🙌🐶❤️

Hello “Laugh an Hour, Anthony and Sebastian, Love the opening low down shot looking at the mooring ropes, looking like they were holding in a large sea going Cruise Liner.

I like the way Anthony was looking on, at the guys manhandling the new skylights.

Your new Skylights look wonderful. Sebastian looked really comfy whilst sitting in his chair watching the workers.

Interesting that you use Davinci, Paul. I used to use that, but everytime I would introduce extra overlay timelines, all the video inserts previously edited-in, would move and be totally out of picture sync. I gave up after a while and went onto CapCut.
