You should have done like like a vlog style. Where you take us throughout your day and document everytime you buy something or spend money and then do like a daily total at the end of each day and the end of the week!

If you pay for things with pay wave then there is a delay with the money being taken from your account. If you pay by swiping/inserting then it will go normally through immediately :)

Regarding the toll, if you go online and pay within 3 days you can avoid paying the admin fee. I suggest doing that until your e tag comes

$550 a week for rent wow!! Sydney really is expensive!! Haha we used to live in an apartment exactly the same as yours which was $350 in inner Melbourne !! So crazy xx

just a little tip if you actually insert your card and enter your pin, it will deduct the money straight away! usually with pay pass the money will go out straight away but it will take time to process in your account and thus comes out on a later day.

Very informative video Ella. Looks like you did have a few large expenses that week, thankfully those are not all the time bills. I kind of guessed your rent price would be around what you said, after all it looks like you do have a very nice modern apartment with good facillities. It may cost a lot of money sometimes, but the most important thing is that you clearly enjoy and have fun and live your life the way that makes you happy and thats pretty great. This is very insightful, I enjoyed it! I also live in Sydney and am living on the north shore paying 535 for a 2 bedroom apartment, not as modern as yours but still quite nice. I have had flat mates before but really enjoy living alone as it allows me to switch up the space however I want. Thanks for being so honest throughout this video!

Wow that’s soo interesting!! Im 23 and normally have to work with a budget of $525 per week to support me and my family of 4 (rent+food!) We are very frugal on food, I go out maybe once every 2-3 months and I’ve learnt to love budgeting 😂😅
