Prompt: "It was a dark and stormy night"

Output: "And we lost our way home.

In the dark we stood still

And waited for the dawn

But it came early, too.

No one is born knowing

The first step

And there is nothing good

About a life of pain,

And the thought of death is

An awful dream to live

Sitting on the cold

Cone of a hill

In the woods, we sat,

Waiting for a sign,

Some sign of hope

It came so early, too

But before we turned round

The light had gone."

This is great! And weird! And absolutely mind blowing!

Input:
No, she said, please don't do that!
He looked at her and with a smile he started to
...

Output:
sashay across the platform to his car, his face a
thickered smile that had been forced onto an ugly face.
"You're a girl, but you'd be my first choice to take on another male in combat."
"I won't be able to have you in there on my terms, sorry!"
"Don't be sorry, I'll let you off without your head. Now, I've never met any of you folks before, have I?"
"No, ma'am, " said a tall and strong-looking man. He had
brown hair and was handsome, but that was just from
being a man and having brown hair.
"Oh, no, no, no, we're from a small country town here in the
country. We have a lot of our own stuff. We're in a group,
kind of like a fraternity. I was the guy that took your photo."
"Um, well, I'm glad your photo's up here, " he said.

From the all caps prompt excluding the ':' character, GPT-2 produced this:
IMAGINE A DAY WHEN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MIGHT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS SENTENCE: "One should not fear the artificial intelligence that is one's friend"

And even if the AI never gets to that point, the fact remains we're already living in an artificial intelligence society.

The big question is:
Would my neural networks professor like it if I let GPT2 write my homework essay?

I remember being very excited about this 4 years ago. Look at where we are today... Imagine where we are going.

It produced the best satire of online recipes I've ever heard. Starts giving you a recipe and immediately interjects a personal story that no one came for. Amazing.
Input: "Add 2 eggs"

"2 tbsp milk and 1 tbsp of sugar, then whip to stiff peaks.

Serve warm in a bowl of warm water sprinkled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon.

A couple of weeks ago, we were given a free recipe from a local family's baking book for this dish, and asked to let them know how we enjoyed it.

It was such an interesting story …"

Me: The true story about how the universe was started is

GPT-2: The true story about how the universe was started is something no one would believe any longer. This book is a classic, and well worth the read. Read it and you will never forget it.

"This classic creation of science fiction is set in a fantasy world where the gods are not real. Our heroes, John F. Kennedy and his fellow astronauts, are transported to the mysterious planet called 'Dune'. There, the gods have turned against mankind, and their armies are closing in. How can the hero's hope survive? Can John F. Kennedy stand against the overwhelming might of the evil gods, and do what is right? Or will the universe collapse on itself and destroy him?"

Dune was written by Frank Herbert, a man who I have a lot of respect for, and to some extent, to this day. I read the first couple of books of his, and they definitely made me think beyond what I was ever really familiar with; there's a strong point of view about his work that you can't put behind you if you take a book at face value.

Of course I tried to feed it a bit of a naughty sentence. Nothing too bad, just some innuendo. Well... GPT-2 is clearly not censored, as it responded with a description of an extremely NSFW scene. I didn't know bodyparts could interact like that, but OK, still a better story than 50 shades.

Prompt: AFTER THEY RETURNED, ROBIN PUNCHED BATMAN IN THE FACE.
AI: Later that night, Robin went to make a call. But he never did call; he disappeared and was never seen again. Last time Robin was seen he was with Batman in his car. Robin asked "I want to be in a movie." Batman didn't know what to do.

"what is the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything? "
Result:
what is the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything? It could be that every person on this planet is one of a kind and unique . . . and that these unique 'ones' were born of a cosmic event that created the Earth in the first place, then created a universe-sized bubble of air and energy, then separated these 'newborn' bubbles, and put them into a 'living room' and allowed time, space, and matter to work the way they do. I doubt that this is even close to being a rational theory. Even if it's true, it'd be a very strange and bizarre kind of 'new birth' at that. But what if it's not so strange at all? Does this mean that we, all of us, are just like a single baby? It would make more sense if we were, by our very nature, two of a kind. The question of why we are here and why we are the way we are is the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. The cosmic moment that spawned the human race was far outside the scope of our own lives. But there

*The greatest mystery in the world is* our future, and the question is whether we can avoid it by changing the past as much as possible to fit our new reality... How do we know that the way forward is to make the past what it once was rather than letting it serve as a crutch? If the future is predetermined by circumstance, then by who or what is that predetermined?

2+2 = 4-1 = 3+1 = 2+1 = 3 The key to solve this is that, like in the last theorem, two different numbers can have only one sign, and they can both have the same sign. However, because 2+2 = 6-1 = 3+1 = 3-1 + 2, 3+2 does not equal 6. Instead 3+1 = 3. Now let's try to look at the last formula for 2=3. The left-hand side of the equation is an exponent, or number added to a number. A whole number has an exact number of digits (the number is even), and so 2+2 is an odd number. However, the exponent 2 is not added, it is simply multiplied by itself. 3+2 = 3. Multiplying 3 by 2 yields 3+2 = 4. We are not sure quite what this says, but it does! 2+2 = 4. That can't go wrong! In addition to the fact that the two numbers do not have the same sign, they have the same order:

*this truly dissapointed me*

This was my auto-completion:

Under my bed there are little elephants.
(completion:)
Like this one. I think he has a crush on me." Her husband's voice came out in his head. [He said:] "Don't do that."

We've got these wonderful elephants! They have this wonderful head." She put a little elephant on him and put him in his trunk. Then she put a little elephant on his trunk and put him on his head to sleep.

He slept like an elephant. When he woke up, he looked, there was a lot of elephants on his stomach.
