Whether these things happened if not he's ruined anyway, I firmly believe that both sides of these kind of cases should remain anonymous until a person is found guilty. Just an accussation is enough to destriy a persons career. Listening to a video the other day a child killer led to 3 people who had been arrested and questioned killing themselves because no one believed they were innocent yet they were

The trouble with these kind of allegations and trials is that they invariably involve people who have a lot of money being sued by people who don't. It is really hard to prove that you were terribly traumatized and that your career and your whole life was ruined because you were groped by a notorious promiscuous gay at a showbiz party where everybody was drunk or high. PS I was once groped by a woman in a bar in the Dominican Republic, but I survived and I didn't even need psychotherapy!

I do wonder if YT are a case of throwing out the baby with the bath water. If there is anything to learn from these cases, for parents, carers, teachers on anyone who has contact with children, surely letting information be seen in some redacted form, with the appropriate warnings would be the wise thing to do. It may be that these cases are so old that if any changes were needed they have already been actioned

There should be a statute of limitations on these MeToo claims when the charges are “He touched my peepee 27 years ago.” Especially from has beens looking for their 15 minutes of fame and a greenback handshake. It’s made people skeptical even of victims of serious sexual assault.

I'm assuming the Jury and Court are fully informed about the person that made the aligations.
I for one would completely discount any statement not made in court in person.
Aligations made anonymously are not worthy of consideration.

The raft of trivia that popped up from the me too movement showed that extreme skepticism when it comes to such serious accusations is the order of the day.
The enormous crushing brutality of even mere accusation is usually minimized or trivialized or ignored completely.

Somewhat interesting, Daniel, and thank you. YT is to my mind far too heavy-handed in relation to things which can't be mentioned. Nothing which might ovrlyh scare we children it seems. Sigh. Personally I'm more in favour of uncensored truth. Anyway I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Colin Pitchfork matter - to release or not to release on parole and subject to what conditions. Have a few thoughts of my own which go against popular opinion it seemes as that seems to be all 'throw away the key' whereas I tend to consider the philosophy behind imprisonment more. (Hoping not too much hatemail today...)
