Bharat Soka Gakkai organized the fourth BSG Healthcare Professionals Seminar, “Beyond Medicine: Cultivating Inner Well-being for Holistic Health”, on 14 July 2024 in Delhi.
The seminar focused on the critical notion of well-being and emphasized the role of humanistic values in fostering a holistic approach to healthcare that recognizes the importance of the mind-body connection towards leading a healthier and happier life.
Three eminent speakers graced the event: Dr. Mathew Varghese, Head of Orthopaedics at St. Stephen’s Hospital (Former Director of St. Stephen’s Hospital), Mr. Sujay Santra, Founder & CEO of iKure Techsoft, and Dr. Parveen Bhatia, Senior Consultant Surgeon in Laparoscopic & Robotic Bariatric Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. They elaborated on various facets of holistic healthcare, emphasizing the integration of compassion, empathy, respect for autonomy, and meaningful connections into medical practice.
